English for architects - Wahlmodul/Vertiefung

Dear students,

Since the winter semester of 2018, the Language Center has been offering a courses specifically for students of Architecture. As of the winter semester 2025/2026, we will be offering the course once a year at B2 level, always in the winter semester. This year, the class takes place on Fridays, 12-2pm on PB campus (PB-A 102).

 This course will focus on communication for architects (emails, presentations, telephone calls, and small talk) and cover current relevant topics such as building materials, sustainability, and future building design.

If you would like to register for the course, you can do so via unisono during the regular Belegphasen. Please note that it is no longer necessary to take a placement test for this course, and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. You can simply register and attend the first session on 17 October to try out the course. If you wish to take any other English courses at the Language Center, please note that a placement test is still  mandatory.
